Draft policy — to be reviewed and approved by GG101 Accounting Services before this website goes live.
GG101 Accounting Services (“GG101”, “we”) respects your privacy and processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, mobile number and business details.
- Booking details: the services you are interested in, appointment preferences and notes you provide.
- Documents you choose to upload so that we can deliver a service you have requested.
- Account and security records such as sign-in times, kept to protect your account.
We do not ask for tax numbers, identity documents or banking details unless they are needed for a specific service you have requested, and we only collect what that service requires.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, manage bookings and deliver the services you request.
- To send you service notifications, quotations, invoices and messages about your account.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
How we protect it
Your information is stored in access-controlled systems. Documents are kept in private storage and are only available to you and to the GG101 staff who need them for your matter, through short-lived secure links. We never store payment card details; online payments, where offered, are processed by our payment provider.
Sharing
We share personal information only where needed to deliver your service (for example, submissions to SARS or CIPC that you have asked us to make), with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its processing. Signed-in clients can submit these requests from the portal settings; anyone can contact us at info@gg101accounting.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Retention
We keep records for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with statutory record-keeping periods, after which they are securely deleted.
